Built a full-stack paper trading platform with JWT-authenticated, user-specific access to virtual portfolio management, buy/sell order execution, holdings and P&L tracking, watchlists, and transaction history via an interactive dashboard. Engineered real-time price streaming with Socket.IO and concurrency-safe trade execution using MongoDB transactions, while integrating Redis caching with automatic fallback to MongoDB for dashboard data. Strengthened application reliability with Zod validation, rate limiting, and 98 automated backend tests using Vitest and Supertest, while configuring GitHub Actions CI for tests, linting, and builds across the application.

MovieSphere | AI-Powered Movie Discovery Platform

Built a full-stack movie discovery platform integrating live TMDB data for trending, popular, top-rated, and upcoming titles, search, movie details, and trailers. Developed AI-powered natural-language search and personalized recommendations using Google Gemini, using favorites and watchlists as taste signals to convert user prompts into structured filters and resolve recommendations to relevant TMDB movies. Implemented JWT authentication with httpOnly cookies for user-specific watchlists, favorites, and reviews; enforced one-review-per-user-per-movie via a compound MongoDB index; and validated reliability with 46 automated backend tests (Vitest, Supertest) and GitHub Actions CI.
